About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Encourage the production of scientific research in management and secretariat and promote critical reflections on the construction of knowledge in the area. Objectives • Highlight the secretariat's work, stimulating scientific production; • Greater visibility to field research in the areas of management and secretariat; • Debate on the quality of secretarial teaching in educational institutions; • Strengthen the profession's identity through quality scientific production. Target • Aimed at secretarial professionals, coordinators, academics, managers of public and private companies, teaching and research institutions.


Submission Policy

The Editorial Commission has its decisions and actions guided by the ethical principles that support scientific journals, approved articles are approved by the Editorial Commission with regard to their scientific merit and follow the requirements of the American Psychological Association (APA) manual, a guide standardization of scientific publications widely known and used in the international academic environment and other editorial precepts of the journal. Then, the texts sent are forwarded to at least two reviewers in a blind review system. Based on the referees' estimates, the Editorial Commission can decide to edit or not the accepted articles, in addition to suggesting changes in order to adapt the texts. None of the editorial bodies, teaching and research organizations or people physically involved in the journal's boards, committees or editing and management process are responsible for the content of the articles, whether in the form of ideas, opinions or concepts, and this responsibility must be the sole responsibility of the respective authors of the texts.

This journal is classified by the QUALIS/CAPES 2017-2020 A4 system and includes work in the area of ​​management and secretariat covering all areas of applied social sciences.



It corresponds to the set of researchers, scholars, academics, professionals and students who are interested in the various themes related to applied social sciences, in their conceptions related to thinking, planning and management.



Semiannual (January/June; July/December) from 2010 to 2013. As of 2014, the periodicity became four-monthly (January-April; May-August; September-December). In 2022, the hournal will have a continuous flow, following international trends.


Free Access Policy

This journal offers immediate free access to its content, following the principle that making scientific knowledge freely available to the public provides greater worldwide democratization of knowledge.
